Founded in 2023, SETH BUILDS RIGS was created to help artists and musicians build clean, efficient, and reliable systems for live and studio performance. Specializing in playback rigs, pedalboards, custom cables, looms, racks, and other performance-ready builds, SBR focuses on creating functional setups that make music production and performance seamless.

Based in Nashville, SBR combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of musicians’ real-world needs. Whether supporting touring artists, studio creators, or performers developing their first playback setup, the company is committed to designing solutions that enhance creativity and simplify workflow. In addition to hardware builds, SBR offers training and consultation for Ableton Live, set creation, playback integration, and music production support.

SETH PENN

Founder

Seth is a musician, producer, and rig builder based in Nashville, where he has lived since 2007 after attending Belmont University and studying audio production. With a lifelong passion for music, Seth has experience both creating original music from scratch and helping artists bring their creative ideas to life.

Bass guitar was his first musical love, but his passion quickly expanded into electronic music, synthesizers, and sound design. He is especially inspired by blending organic instrumentation with electronic elements to create something distinctive and emotionally resonant. Through SETH BUILDS RIGS, Seth channels that same creativity into designing streamlined, performance-ready systems that support musicians in both live and studio environments. Whether working on playback rigs, production setups, or artist development, his goal is to help people feel inspired, connected, and confident in their sound.
